The month of November has reminded us that we have so much to be thankful for. God's blessings abound, and his work advances.

As you can see pictured above, we had the opportunity to serve at a local food bank hosted by a sister church. Not only were we able to help folks in our city (literally hundreds of them) with some of their physical needs, but we were also able to have some very good gospel conversations. Eight volunteers from our church participated.

In addition, the Membership Information Class went very well. It consisted of four 90-minute sessions over the course of four weeks. As a result, six people have expressed strong interest in being members of our church.

Things also continue to move forward with the purchase of a church building. We have tentative plans to close on the property on December 10. However, we are still waiting on a local government-funded entity to release some important paperwork that they are now several weeks late in submitting. We seem to be making some progress there, but please pray that this entity would give us the paperwork we need so that we can meet our contracted deadline of December 10. Everything else is all set to close.

We'd also like to say a huge "thank you" to all who contributed toward our Renovation Fund. As a result of our "Season of Giving" during the month of November, we raised over $52,000 internally (in addition to gifts from other donors and a very generous gift by Anchored in Truth). Because of this, it looks like we will be able to do many of the renovations we've been hoping to do on the building.

Please continue to pray for our outreach efforts. As you can imagine, the virus has been a significant obstacle for us. We've attempted a couple of small evangelistic Bible studies but have currently put even those on hold due to extremely high COVID case counts in our area. Thankfully, we have still been able to meet each and every week in-person for worship services (the state of Pennsylvania offers religious organizations an exemption from all mandates). We've even had several non-Christians attend our worship services lately, whom we've been trying to reach out to for some time, and they've even been bringing additional unsaved family members for the past three weeks! Please pray that God would work in the hearts of Trish, Chris, John, and Marlene.

Serving Him,
Josh & Becky Tancordo
